Purified primary smoke products are used in the CleanSmoke smoking process. DG Santé and the SCoPAFF committee have decided to ban smoke flavourings and thus also the product- and environmentally-friendly CleanSmoke smoking process with a “follow-up period” of 5 years. The CleanSmoke Coalition and the CleanSmoke Organic Campaign will now examine all possible technical, legal and political avenues in order to preserve the CleanSmoke smoking process as a modern, contemporary smoking method.
